Ahman Green
Ron Dayne
Chris Brown
LenDale White
Cedric Wilson
I already have Tiki Barber, Edge James and Deuce McAllister. I'll waive one of my two kickers and see if a player develops.
Personally, I like Ron Dayne. I think he 's going to step right in to Mike Anderson's role from last year and Bell will remain the change up back with limited carries.
I'm also considering taking a chance on Wilson to wait and see if his takes the starting job away from Thomas Jones. I think he's ready this a year and maybe worth the shot.
Opinions? Thanks!

Stick with the Great Dayne, I'm telling you, he's due for his moment to shine.
Remember Priest Holmes came out of nowhere to start for the chiefs, well he was on the Ravens bench behind Jamal Lewis, but when he got traded to KC, he was about Daynes age but his Legs had no mileage on them and the same can be said for Dayne.
Denver is the perfect place for him, just imagine if Denver drafted him from the beginning, he'd be in Shaun Alexanders range.
Dayne has more speed and quickness than people give him credit for. He's probably the fastest 250 back you'll see.
And remember J. Bettis was big but never had great speed, well Dayne has more speed than bettis and he'll be playing behind a Denver Line that is taylored to his style.
Remember I told you this is Dayne's Year

I like Ron Dayne as well, but look for Chris Brown who may be traded to the broncos in a rumor from SI. If he is then he may just start, although unlikely, so he could have potential. Take Dayne for now, Brown for later. Lendale's splitting carries with brown and Henry, and so is ahman. Do you mean Cedric Benson as well? Because Cedric Wilson's a WR for the steelers, and isn't a RB for the bears. But cedric benson has some upside, even though he has to split carries, just go with Dayne.

Well let's look at your list- Ahmand Green, up side he's a guaranteed starter, looks good when healthy, and he can catch- The down side is he's a fumbler, aging for a power back, and may not be healthy yet
Ron Dayne- Upside is that he's a bruiser with speed with an offense that will let him pound it and run it, which is more his style, he can catch the screen but it's defiantly not his specialty, when he's close to the goal line you know he's getting the ball. Downside is he's unproven, not the fastest tailback-but he does have a good initial burst, trade rumors, and also he's in Denver(remember Tantum Bell, everyone thought he was the starter last year at this time)
Chris Brown- Up side is that he can catch and run, he's healthy this year, and the boy can play if he stays healthy. Down side- can he stay healthy.
Ledale White- Just stay away from him
Cedric Benson- Refer to White
So after this, that leaves you 3 backs, I would rate them Ahman Green, Chris Brown, Ron Dayne.
Hope this helps

I would take Benson, Thomas Jones is very unhappy with his contract and the bears are giving the impression that Benson might become their featured back this year which would be great with the bears being that they think run before pass and are able to execute it well. Dayne could be good but I doubt Denver will stray away from their 2 rb strgedy they used last year unless Bell got hurt.

I like them in this order:
1. Ahman Green
2. Ron Dayne
3. Cedric Benson
4. Chris Brown
5. LenDale White
This is almost all based on whether or not I can be assured of their positions in the starting line-up. Ahman is the only one listed who will DEFINITELY be the starter. Some of those other guys may or may not.
This is why I never draft before mid-August. Too many question marks.

Barring a potential trade (Denver is talking with Tenn about a Chris Brown trade) I'd go with either Ron Dayne or Cedric Benson from Chicago. If Brown is traded to Denver I'd take him. Thinks he'd be a natural fit in Denver run scheme.

Cedric Benson is your best bet with Thomas Jones not in Camp.

I think with tiki and edge both at starting rb, take a chance on dayne. I don't like him too much, but you don't need an rb right away.

I think that Ahman Green is my most liked RB off of waivers. He is looking to regain his position as the Packers number one running back and he is overly motivated for a new season. I think he is or is capable to get at least 1,300 yards this year.
