enforce the death penalty the day a person is convicted of a murder- we are spending way too much money to keep these idiots on death row during the appeals process

I wouldn't enforce it so soon in case there is more evidence that comes to light, but I would keep the death penalty. Would decrease murder in the U.S. just like other countries.

Well given it has to be one way or the other...I'd go with option two and completely eliminate it. Too many innocent people would be killed...that's a lil more than an oopsie. Happens on a rare occasion now...but given an all or nothing at all scenerio - that possiblility would happen much more...sooooooo...let's hope we never go THERE huh?

Tough question. I think I would choose option #1. That way less of Americas taxpayers money would be spent keeping these people alive, when they've already been sentenced to death anyway. Why wait?

that's really not fair question. are you talking all murders, even involuntary? we need to have some kind of a death penalty, although there has to be limitations as to who and when can it be used. to ask a question with this much substance, you have to be able to differentaite the "murder".

Make every state enforce it, because it is necesary for some things, I wouldn't say your first murder, but if you are a terrorist, then yes, you need to die!
