Charity Fundraisers can benefit from many schemes.

A 50-50 raffle is an idea. Sell tickets for $1 or $5 and draw a winning ticket and give half of the collected money to the winner. Sometimes the winner will donate the half back to the cause.

A big project is to have an event where you serve food and maybe have music. You put on a silent auction. Get vendors in the area to donate an item. Things like a signed jersey from a local sports player, footballs or baseballs, Jewelery, trips to Mexico, gift baskets, boquet of flowers. Solicit all businesses in your area. Many of them have budgets for community service or benevolence that they can afford to donate something for charity sake.

Arrange the items on a table or set of tables and provide a list for people to bid on paper what they would pay for the item. Allow an hour or two for people to shop and bid. At a specific hour, close the bidding and announce the winners and ask them to go to the check out counter and have them pay the bid amount for the item. be sure you have them check out and pay at the event so if they balk you can offer it to the next highest bidder and you don't have to spend much resources to collect the bids after the event.

Some people put on gambling for charity. People gamble up money and then use it to bid on auction items in a live auction.

You can have live auctions similar to silent auctions, but you need a good MC to handle the bidding and talking up the items and soliciting bids.

Good Luck!

Hope ur not raising money to send to Hezbollah. I quit donating because I found out lots of these charities were going to fund terrorism. I dont give to any charity at all anymore.

People give so much, and they give with a pure and giving heart, believing they are helping innocent children and such. But most often the money does NOT go where it's intended. It goes to those that will create even more fammon, death, destruction, and hardship in those regions. In other words, it fuel the fire, not extinguishes it. My evidence? Take a good look at whats happening!!!!! Has anything improved? Nope. It's gotten worse.

There are a few ways to do this. The most common is car wash.
Depending on where you live, some restaurants may offer benefit food like chili or others. CHECK IT OUT.
