Back in the late 90's there was a article in the paper that listed some tv shows they wanted to make into movies.. I cant rmemeber them all but here are some
Brady Bunch (done with sequel)
Avengers (done)
Peanuts (nevr done and dont know if it was dropped with Schultz's death or what)
Green Acres (every once in a while i hear talk of this still in the works)
Giligan's Island (Last thing i ever heard was a Entertainment Tonight look at it. They said 2 prequels and a seuqel movies in the works.
Does anyone know if any of these are still going to be made? Not that i'm looking forward to seeing how to make Green Acres into a movie lol

well the only original cast still alive (at least based on the last news i got) was the proffesor, one of the two girls (didnt know this till recently) who played Maryann) and the original Ginger (not the Rescue from Giligan's Island actress)
Bob Denver died last year.

the only cast i think i ever heard was the guy from There's something about Mary (not ben Stiller) the detective guy, as Giligan

I read that Adam Sandler was supposed to be Gilligan with Brian Dennehey as the Skipper. There's supposed to be a role for Rob Schnieder too. There doesn't seem to be anything official though. It's pretty well being kept a secret.

I've never heard of it, but there was a tv show about Gilligan's Island, not the reality tv series, where there was 2 of each cast member, competing to get off the island, with the winner swimming to to the platform, and lighting the signal flare, and getting on the helicopter, and winning the contest (which I saw only two complete episodes), but a tv movie, "Return To Gilligan's Island." Closest thing to an actual movie they actually had, but I'm not sure if everybody was the same cast members or not...
Come on now, Green Acres is the place to be!

I would like to see a movie -Gilligan's island--If only I could be on such a place about now---As for Green Acres I could really get into that one as well!! But by now they should have a little garden that the deer eat up!!! maybe they could even plant a deer garden!!! I would like to borrow that pitchfork about now_____sorry I am pissed about some other stuff and letting my imagination run WILD--HA HA Thanks for all the information!!!

I'd love to see a Green Acres movie...but who would play Oliver and Lisa? And I'm pretty sure the original Arnold Ziffle is probably a pile of overcooked bacon by now...

Making classic TV shows into movies don't do well at the Box Office & I hope, pray to God, that Hollywood doesn't make a movie version of Giligan's Island.
I hope it doesn't get made!

Gilligan's island is being filmed as we speak. They have kept the cast and the crew, and the location a total secret. Why ruin a good surprise!

I thought they did make movies. They were rescued and Mr Howel opened a resort.
