I liked that movie. What I don't understand is why people don't want to see it. (OMG, gay cowboys! Whatever, you people!) It's about more than that, and you'd know that if you would sit down and watch it. Don't complain about something unless you've actually seen it.
What really gets me is the same people who refuse to watch it will watch shows like Will & Grace or Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Isn't that being hypocritacal?

that movie was SO boring, no real attempt to develop characters relationships. by the end i didn't CARE about the characters or their problems, i just wanted it to be over. i think it was way over hyped and i am glad they got smoked at the Oscars...go see Capote instead!

No, didn't watch it for the simple fact of what it was. I would hate for cowboys to be ruined for me. I imagine John Wayne rolled over in his grave.

I was curious...so I rented it. IT SUCKED!!! It was the worst movie ever. The acting and story line was terrible...and I didn't buy for one minute that they were gay. I didn't finish watching it.

I went to it with a gay cowboy who didn't like it. I thought there should have been more scenes involving chaps.
