A United Nations observation post has been destroyed yesterday by Israeli bombs. 4 UN observers have been killed. It appears the UN and Israel have been in communication all through the week to make sure those small buildings were not bombed. Even yesterday. But still the observation post was it 14 times (yes, 1 and 4, fourteen). How could this happen? Bombed once, okay. Twice, maybe. But 14 times???? Is this imcompetence or was this planned? (Please do not give me the "oh,it's war" quote, because it really does not apply here). We are talking about a known isolated target with no Hezbollah or civilians in it.

To whoever do not seem to know why there are UN posts in Lebanon. They were built after Israeli pullout to observe the ceasefire between the 2 countries.It is strange to observe all those praying for Israel are not aware of that. Blind one day, blind everyday.

NOTE to whoever still did not know: Istrael WAS WARNED all through the week by the UN to protect those building.

ALSO: ABSOLUTELY NO REPORT says any Katoushias rockets were sent from those buildings. It is not part of the Hezbollah stronghold. This really takes a pure idiot to make such assumption. Get your fact straight idiot.

So it is war and no rules applies. Then why is it that no one ever bombs a Red Cross people or trucks? Even Germans were not doing it in WWII. (Although this week, Red Cross workers were hit in Beyrouth by Israeli bombing). Go figure...

Israel was warned numerous times but kept bombing. Here is the link for those who can't believe the truth.

As I recall, the Israeli government called the kidnapping of its two soldiers an act of war. Well, following this logic, the bombing of a UN position (14 times!) could also be considered an act of war ... against the world. There's no way it could be a collateral damage (no Hezbollah terrorists anywhere near this outpost) or a friendly fire (the victims were civilians and weren't killed in crossfire). It just shows how barbaric and stupid a military superpower can be. Israel like the US might be democracies, that doesn't mean they are evolved countries.

Not good I know,maybe the same thing happened like during the first Iraq war,when the US military bombed British Army personnel,who were their allies and working along side them! 12 were killed. Obviously there was some sort of communication problem,I do not believe the Israelis to have done it on purpose,they had no reason to,especially as they want world opinion to favour them,which I do believe it was/is.Hezbollah fired the first rocket,they attacked the Israeli's first,but in saying that it does not excuse them for what happened.I know you don't want to hear it, but,a war zone is complicated, confusing,horrendous,all those things,and its precisely because its a war zone that these horrendous incidents happen.
By the way,the US is well known for killing allies in friendly fire.!!
Also,how do you know Hezbollah was not responsible?? They are terrorists after all,and would stop at nothing to get what they want!! Think about it!

Israel is out of their mind. This is a knee jerk reaction to something small. Two soldiers were kidnapped and Israel goes Postal. Now they are killing the UN people. I am not pro Hezbollah nor do I feel the Arab world and the extremist Muslim zealots are in any way justified but Israel is not thinking with all it's oars in the water. The USA has to put its foot down on this. Instead we bag on Kofi Ananon for speaking the truth. Israel needs to withdraw and let the UN peace keeping forces come in. Hezbollah will only gather more support with this action.

Believe me this is not the first time the Israelis and the Americans targeted civilians and peace keepers, a few years ago they bombed a UN base for refugees and killed about 200. Americans have a profile of these actions too. In the late 80's they targeted an Iranian Air Bus passenger plane flying to Dubai, and killed 200 innocent people abroad, and later said they confused it with an F14 fighter plane. Can you believe that an Airbus is two times larger than an F14 and is white, and the Americans hit it with one of their most modern ships, and didn't even apologize for it!

Ahhhh, an American, one of those who don't see anything but what they want to see. How's this If the USA had not sold the rockets to either country, those people including 1 Canadian, would not have died. Is the USA had not interfered in their politics, there would be less of a conflict in that area of the world. If the USA looked after their own troubles, the states would be a truly great country, except for the truth is clear;
In the USA, there is still Racism;
In the USA, there is still Poverty;
In the USA, there is still Murder;
In the USA, there is still Hunger;
In the USA, there is still War;
In the USA, there are many who are not yet FREE!!
Who are they to tell the world how to LIVE!!!

Maybey Isreal doesn't want the U.N. too see something that could be observed from that post like a a nuclear warhead, or a ground invasion force, or maybey they dont trust the U.N. to track their movement ect....use your imagination.

and to therandman:
i seriously doubt that the U.N. would allow hezbullha do launch rocket from those post.also I dont support hezbullha but i do beleive in giving credit were credit is due, like fighting a larger more well equiped and more technological advanced army is cowardly, by your logic isn't isreal just as cowardly they use extensive airstrikes when neither hezbullha nor lebenon has any air defense system, i do admit that huzbullha are psychopaths by putting civilians in the line of fire but i wouldn't go so far as to say they are cowards , neither you or me nor anyone in this post would have the balls to do what they do.

in the past the Jews have sunk a US Naval Ship, the jewish Air force, made several fly bys against a clearly marked American Naval Vessal... No investigation was ever done, they killed several sailors... now they bombed a known UN post, I think, that in both instances, they were trying to make it look like it was done by the other side, in an attempt to draw them into the conflict as well. Well Jews, we're not falling for it, and this American, wished we could yank your funding, and let your neighbors destory you so dont have to prolong the inevitable any more.

I personally doubt that Israel would be the one to bomb the un building. If they did there was a reason. the un isnt the real enemy now and israel is focusing on the real enemy. they dont go out of their way to kill innocent people instead they warn people that they are going to bomb something days ahead of time. They only want peace.

Hezbollah (the cowards that they are) was using the site to launch Katusha rockets. They are the unfortunate casualties of war. The real question is why did Koffi Annan have unarmed peace keepers in the middle of a battlefield?

When israelis attack a target they don't just bomb it once they pound it into the ground. The hezbollah terroist hide behind things like this. Israel isn't the best when it comes to not hitting allies (see USS Liberty) but they never mean to do it.
