Just based on the newest story regarding Mo'Nique aka "Phat Girlz" actress, where she gave attitude to United Airline stewardess and was escorted off the flight. Why pull the RACE CARD, in my opinion it doesn't matter if you are White, Black, Asian, Arab, or any race you would be treated the same way, if it were a white person or Mexican or what ever they would be treated the same way. My question... Do you believe she is right for pulling the race card, or is she just using it because her so called 'celebrity status" did not allow her to act how she wanted and was called on it? What are your thoughts? Why is it neccesary to pull the race card??

I don't know much about that story, but I do think that some people with an attitude who happen to be another race than white will pull the race card to hand the blame to someone else instead of taking responsibility for their own rudeness. Here's an interesting question: Is white the only race that is ridiculed if they accuse others of racism against them?

I think it is unfortunate that people pull that card! It happens daily, seems if any person no matter race doesn't get what they want they pull out the race card! I have many friends whom are of all ethnic backrounds and some of them have even tried to pull that stuff with me! Heres the way i see it! Racism continues to happen because too many people use it as a crutch. There are quotas of who has to have the jobs, who gets the education, who gets the grants, who gets Social Security, and so on... It has nothing to do with how much a benifit to socity you are but what color your skin is! And untill EVERYONE not just one race quits being raciest, racism will never die! There has been situations when i felt that i was outcasted due to my race, but i would never pull the race card! I dont think in my life racism will die, and i am only 20 years old! I hope it does, but it is going to take work from everyone not just one race!

It's a shame racism still does exist. Who really knows the true story? None of us were there. As far as Mo'Nique's story is concerned if it happened the way she claims, then I agree it is a racist incident.

All of that over a hairdryer? A bit ridiculous, right? How can they compare that to 9/11? I'm wondering if the flight attendant actually saw the damn hairdryer in the first place.

I'm not racist at all either, but I think it's just easy to say that someone is 'racist'. How much longer can this go on?

I don't think that it's right that she pulled that card. I think she was embarrassed that she was called out on her behavior and using the race card makes it easy for her to justify her behavior.

no! its never o.k. to pull the race card. if you need to pull the race card, then maybe it's because she herself is a racist and hates white people. that way she thinks she's getting away with something.

Most pull the race card because that usually gets them what they want unless there are true grounds for it then it is unnecessary.

I think that people use the race card because they can never look at themselves and admit the part they play in the situation. so they need someone to blame.

I hate to be obtuse yet ought to you in line with risk grant some thing he's asserted? i've got basically considered him do one or 2 exercises on adult men, females and feminism and those have been spot on. in my view i've got faith anybody has the proper to their comments. the belief of governing concepts is ridiculous. i do unlike multiple issues I hear and that i do what i will to alter those comments i detect quite distasteful yet we are surely entitled to our comments. as long as we're not promptly and bodily violating each and each others rights, the words themselves mean little or no to me. i do no longer see any of his comments in yet otherwise than I see the girls comedians who get on point and communicate approximately how females are extra suitable to adult men and that's the reason. Or the television shows that depict females as continually being clever and ethereal and all the adult men who're dumb f**ks fortunate to be interior the comparable room as a female. this is all meant to be humorous .
