Yes. If you take notice, they're the first ones out on the dance floor. Even if another girl they dance with, which doesn't mean anything other than they just want to have fun. They're usually at the front of a concert too, jumping and screaming and having fun.

Yes, I think this can be tracked sociologically as spending on all forms of entertainment and technology by women is at an all-time high. Check it out, yo:

While all humans want to have a meaningful life, and women are still seeking depth and accomplishment, it is also fair to say that the general "mode" that predominates women in the 21st century is enjoyably light-hearted and can be safely summarized with "girls just want to have fun" (and I've had that as a ringtone myself, lol)
