Hi,
A pad of paper and a pencil. Seriously, make the mistakes there. It is cheaper to erase than remove plumbing.
Measure all the distances and try to make a drawing to scale.
Show it to a plumber.

First make sure your building site is high enough (elevation) to have adequate slope for your drains. If that is OK, then you can design your layout. If you have the room, make your plumbing walls 2x6 walls because you can't fit the 3" fittings inside a 2x4 wall. All the rest of your walls can be 2x4. Design one main line out of the building for the waste. All drain fixtures tee or wye into the main waste line. You need to bring the domestic water inside the building. You can do this by using piping from the exterior of the building and keep it underground until it comes up into the water heater room. (or bring is up into the building in a closet or chase, then run it through the walls to the water heater. I'd recommend Pex type domestic water lines. It's way cheaper than copper. Both your sewer (drain mains) and water lines only need to be stubbed out of the building (underground) to be hooked up later. Good Luck

You begin the Sewer at the Commodes and there Vents- everything connects to those main lines.
Water begins with the Incoming Service- and Water Heater.

I would start with the kitchen and bathrooms. you want to try and make as many rooms as possible meet at a common wall. This is called a wet wall and it will not only cut down on the time that it will take to install, but it will save money because you are using less lines.

Are you particular you recognize what you're doing? once you've under no circumstances outfitted something beforehand, stop! pass pay some funds, and take a route in abode progression. they arrive in purely about everywhere, and take you by the total procedure, from commence to end. in case you nevertheless favor to handle the challenge after that, analyze different abode developers on your section, which have outfitted their own abode. they're going to allow you to recognize some horror thoughts, that they encountered. in case you nevertheless favor to handle the challenge after that, call some remodelers, and function them on standby, purely in case. progression a house is an paintings, performed by experienced contractors, which have earned their attractiveness, by exertions, and backbone, and definite, with some trial and mistake in the back of them. preserving a job transferring ahead, is the most mandatory ingredient, besides the undeniable fact that it's not something it is taught. understanding even as to call which contractor, to guy the pastime, and understanding sufficient about "his" career, with a view to understand if he's doing the pastime, or doing a job on you. On a quickly paced pastime, contractors may have a million to 2 days, to finish their area of the challenge, this includes any inspections that are required. elements favor to be placed on the pastime on the right second, so as that the elements themselves, do not sluggish progression on the challenge. particular contractors favor to be finished, beforehand others commence artwork, to save ahead progression. floor artwork might want to be finished, examined, and inspected, beforehand metallic must be put in, beforehand concrete must be poured. it must be daunting, to assert the least. Do your self a opt for, and get each and every of the data, beforehand you throw solid funds away, that you're going to favor to beautify the abode, after that is outfitted. solid success!
