Yes, life is a bundle of desires, limitless desires which basically boils down to the things we want in life regardless of whatever. The thing is that we have to grow and learn to control those desires because everything comes with consequences particularly being selfish with our desires. We have to figure out when its ok to let go to those desires and then we need to figure when we flat out have to resist those desires. I think thats how we develop control over ourselves and our lives.

False. We see life through the clouded looking glass of desire, and we often act based on desire, but life is far more than just this. There is the fulfillment of that desire and the circumstances that cause the desire in the first place. There is the independently-existing physical world which can either satisfy or deny our desires. Many of our actions find their root in desire, but life is how we respond to those desires, what we make of them and what we do with them.

true.
man is born to bear what he has been destined to...by The Almighty.
His purgation is possible when he suffers and he will suffer if he goes through bad times
bad times are invited if he has temptations and desires
so a man always has desires irrespective of his age...
so desires lead to worries n sufferings....which further lead to his purgation....which more further leads to his salvation. so its all predestined n inter-related.

Each thing is some thing you reach for, only to have or have not it...
When you accumulate enough, then some one wants 'yours'...
So, curb your desires and live sparingly... Eat less and have less fun... then die miserably :)
I wish you well..
