The team with the best record. Is baseball new to you?

A's, because their pitching is better than anybody else in the west, even though john lackey is having a great season for the angels. Zito, haren, blanton, windsor make up a pretty good and young rotation, and huston street as the closer, probably the most underrated closer in the league next to B.J. Ryan.

A's or the Angels. They both have a very powerful lineup and good starting pitching. I would pick the Angels over the A's because of Jered Weaver on his streak of winning and it looks like he will stay great through the rest of the year.

I say the A's hands down. They always heat up at this point in the season, and they will leave the other teams in the dust. If Chavez, Swisher, Thomas, and Bradley heat up, there will be no stopping the A's in the west

Too tough to call at this point, because it's so tight. My prediction though will either be the A's or the Angels. The Rangers always experience some kind of end-of-the-season collapse.

Angels, but only if the get Soriano. If not, then the A's, but you can't count out Texas either. That team will score a load of runs, and if they get some pitching, look out.

Any one of those teams could do it.

It doesnt matter who it is, The Tigers beat them in the Divisional Series.

The A's if they don't trade everyone away by the dead line!
