He's probably already told you that he will change. They never do! If he won't get any help for himself then you really need to leave and get on with your life because he will drag you down with him. Life is too short to be miserable. Good luck.

alcoholics swear blind they will change promise things will be diffrent if you stay
oh gosh Hun just pack a bag and get your self a life because they will only drag you down with them
nothing worse than living with some one that is dependent on you through drugs drink or gambling
i wish you all the luck get out of it and have a new happy life

Help them to stop. How? Get them to exercise and then they won't feel the fear that makes them drink. If poss then get them running. If not then fast walking is really good too.

First off accept that you have no control over what they do its not your fault. Accept them for what they are. Try AAA or some other support group. Move.
