I used to be until I found out why..There is stuff in chapstick a wax like substance that doesn't allow any moisture to get in so in order to keep your lips feeling good you have to keep reapplying. To break the habit go buy some Lanolin from heath food store or you can find it in the infant/baby section of walmart. Apply that to your lips and within a day or two the habit will be broken and your lips will feel better than ever.

oh, wow! i really thought i was the only one thankful that stuff was ever invented! i wouldn't say i'm addicted, but i can't leave home without it. i'm a woman and i hate makeup. the only thing i worry about is keeping my skin and lips moisturized. thank goodness for chapstick with spf 15.

You cannot be addicted to chapstick, lol. What are you going to be addicted to - the wax? Please! That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. And, by the way, I prefer Carmex. Give me Carmex. I need Carmex. More Carmex. AHHHHHH

I have used lip balm daily since I was in my teens and I have a daughter in ther teens now who does the same. It's harmless and keeps your lips kissable and smooth no matter what the weather!
