Aren't aftershave and toners about the same?

nope, toners tone your face to normal ph balance to give it a healthy glow complextion, after shave is just after you shave to hydrate your skin from the irritations. I know your a guy but now you know the difference.

I am not sure what a toner is, but if it's that after shave that feels like lotion, I can't stand that stuff. I prefer an alcohol-based aftershave. Anything with lotion in it makes my face feel all greasy. So, in answer to your question, I have no clue.
