I'm scared of flying, but will need to fly lots in the future so I'm considering hynosis, do you think it would help?

Miss,

I have some experience of this. My ex was scared of flying and hypnosis was recommended by a friend of our, who incidentally uses it professionally. The hypnosis was performed a few times and the fear of flying completely eradicated. If you want to know more please feel free to write, but it will certainly help.

Furthermore, if you are UK based I believe BA offer assistance and a course to relieve you of this irrational fear. All airlines will allow you to board last and exit first if you explain.

I know it doesn't help and I know that everyone will tell you this but the most dangerous part of a journey, is the car ride to the airport! but you know your fear is irrational so I will not bore you with the obvious.

I've been hypnotized twice. The first time did not work, but I definitely believe the second time did. The first time was in a "show-like" setting, where he calls a bunch of people up on stage and hypnotizes everyone. Everyone else seemed to be hypnotized (or pretended to be), and I just sat there watching feeling stupid. He told me I had too much of a "protective wall" up and I couldn't be hypnotized. The second time was with a therapist, and she wanted to use me as an example for a class. I told her I couldn't be hypnotized, but she proceeded to perform a one-hour session, and afterwards told me she had made some suggestions which she felt would be beneficial and to let her know if I noticed anything different. (She didn't tell me what the suggestions were.) Throughout the following weeks, I noticed my appetite had changed and when I did get hungry, I avoided fast foods and wanted something more healthy. I also noticed that I was more alert in the mornings.

Both of these sessions were free, but the therapist told me her hourly rate was $60. Hope this helps!

i don't think that hypnotise will going to help you.its all depend on u how to control yourself when u r flying nd i think some meditaltion or some adventures sports r going to help u to solve this problem.don't be scare of anything becoz death is the end of everybody life.so do everything what u want to do becoz each nd every minute in ur life is important

yes, hypnotism "works". there are a number of books available on self hypnosis. why not try that. getting into a hypnotic state is not that difficult. and from the book you will learn how to appropriately "program" yourself as needed. good luck
