the way we need to "fight" this is through negotiation. it is a gorilla tactic not a country we cannot bomb it to death.

The whole concept of a 'war on terror' is ludicrous. Terrorism is a military tactic, albiet a gruesome one, so how can you have a war on a tactic. It's like saying you are going to have a war on surprise, fo example, as surprise is used as a military tactic. I lived for 30 years in Northern Ireland during the terrist campaigns there, and can tell you categorically there is no chance of defeating terrorism with force. You will only make it stronger, only drag more people into violence, and make it harder to get yourself out of the original problem. I watched it tear my country apart. We are only stating to put it back together now after dialogue, negotation and compromise. And compromising with someone you despise is not an easy thing to do, but if you want that hate and violence to dissapear its what you have to do I'm afraid. Violence just creates more violence.

It is a struggle in opposition to a virulent, bastardized type of Islam. The difficulty is that many Muslims are afraid to talk out in opposition to it for lots of factors. However, it's important that slight Muslims talk out and safeguard their faith from the ones evil zealots that experience twisted it right into a type of fascism. Until that occurs, many blameless humans of all faiths will unfastened worthy lives and treasure. This is an historical turning factor in Islam. Will it's a faith of existence or a faith of dying because the terrorists claim? The President describe the Axis of Evil as Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and North Korea. There has been no difference to the coverage of handling all 4. Afghanistan and Iraq are being treated. Iran will typically be treated subsequent even though what type it'll take isn't transparent. North Korea has been restricted via the Chinese however continues to be a risk so long as Kim Jung Il is responsible. .

Not with the current means of fighting it. For every X number of terrorists the US kills or incarcerates, another X number of terrorists will be created because they are pissed off.
At the end of the day, its not about finding them and catching them, because there is no country called "Terrorism" where a senate or president can cede defeat. There are thousands of terrorists groups in the world and many that are yet to be formed. In order to stop terrorists attacks, the US must find a way to come up with a foreign policy that appeases "terrorists" and also is satisfactory to our interests.

Hate to answer a question with a question, but... What, exactly, would you suggest? Do you think everyone should just stand idly by while a bunch of radicals turn themselves into human bombs with the intent of causing as much mass casualty among innocent civilians as possible in order to draw media attention to their cause?
Terrorism is not only a cowardly act directed against non-combatants, it in itself is an act of war. Defending against it is not only a right, but a moral obligation.

i doubt it, we have made more enemies through the "war"
take the people of Iraq for example, they didn't hate us before.
now all it takes is for one to pick up a gun and start shooting and we kill him and call him a terrorist
this war was a total mistake
