The UN? or completely change it around so that it actually means something and does something? I am open to any suggestions or opinions just please don't be rude about it

Maybe not dismantle, but re-structure. The UN is a great organization when it comes to bringing nations together to discuss issues and to help with world relief. But the UN acting as a military force is quiet ineffective. The UN should either:
1. Focus on creating a larger UN military so it can be more effective in world events.
or...
2. Eliminate there military and focus on humanitarian issues.

I think we should just leave the UN and most of the world would follow. The UN isn't really the vision of what America should be doing in the first place. America would have a better foreign policy if we would just sit back and be economic friends with the world as George Washington advocated. Though I would have to admit, we had a person that is connected to the UN, come to our school and say that UN has been successful in stopping World Wars though.

I agree .. the UN is a very corrupt and very ineffective organization. For all that President Bush has done that may be questionable he will forever remain a, sort of, hero of mine for telling the UN to bite our ***. I think that in a hundred years it will be that, more than anything else, that he will be remembered for.
