Depends on what you mean by proof. There will never be any statistical or empirical data which will prove the existence of "love" but the circumstantial evidence of its existence is overwhelming.

A huh....right... you prove that you love ________ (whoever)

I cant't prove that I love my kids, but I do. I can't prove that I love my husband, but I do.

Asking someone to prove their love is another way of saying that you do not believe that they love you.
