Postpartum depression or not. It is never right to kill your babys. I don't care what anyone says. they should do the same to the mother that does this.. or father. why should we pay for someone being locked up that kills there kids.. instant death penalty for that crap is my say ! They know what they were doing and that it was wrong and if they didn't the family members should have know there was something terribly wrong with her and should never have left her alone with the kids.

You are in opposition to abortion. RIGHT? I am too. But if YOU dedicate violence upon a lady to kill an unborn baby, then you're committing a homicide and tried homicide of the mummy. That is the legislation. A lady's correct to terminate her being pregnant is HER correct to HER frame. That correct used to be written through the U.S. Supreme Court selection in Roe v Wade. Like it or now not. I don't think that nine MEN have the correct to make any rule or legislation that tells females what they may be able to or can't do for themselves. That entails abortion. I suppose the identical rule might observe to nine females telling a person who fathered a number of youngsters out of wedlock to have a vasectomy. This is a MAN'S correct. So, abortion IS authorized. Spouse abuse is NOT.

Obviously you have never been depressed or you wouldn't say that. Depression is a sickness just like any other mental illness. When you are truly depressed you are different person and you state of mind is altered. Just because someone is not schizo doesn't mean they shouldn't claim insanity.
P.S. and no one says it's OK - the legal system allows people with mental problems seek the help they need instead of going to jail where their conditions can only worsen.

There is nothing new about it. I was talking to an elderly chinese woman and she told me stories about old china. She said families did not want female babies, they only wanted males. Many of the poorer families would take the infant girls to the mountain. They would find a high, steep, and rocky cliff. They would throw the child to her death below. I told the lady if I could I would adopt those kids. She said, even if everyone in the usa adopted the kids it wouldn't be enough. There were too many killed.
So infanticide is nothing new. Look at our abortion clinics.

Watch the movie, A Beautiful Mind (Russel Crow) to get a good look inside the mind of a mentally ill person. Then ask yourself whether they belong in prison or an institution.

It's not ok for Mothers with Post Pardon depression to kill their babys ..... Its not ok for any human being to kill a baby.... In my opinion, any person who does kill a baby HAS thrown their doodie on the wall { flipped their wig}....... and any person who does this to a child or baby should be punished to the max!!!!!

It is okay because that is for God to deal with and if a person know they will put their child through more harm and pain than good then why not send it to heaven right away instead of leaving it in a trash can or leaving it in the world to fend for itself while they out kicking it

Does it matter? Not guilty by reason of insanity means that she will spend the rest of her life in an insane assylum.
IF she is ever found to be competant at a future date, she will them be charged with murder.
She is not getting off

She had "POST-PARTUM PSYCHOSIS" there is a world of differences to post-partum "depression".Do a search on Google or Yahoo it will explain a few things that will perhaps put the Yates case in new light to those who consider it a form of depression.
