it is normal. i had the same thing. the doc will probably have you come in to make sure you're not leaking amniotic fluid, but don't panic. if you are, you'll probably be put on bed rest 'til it's time for your baby to be born. congratulations, btw

I can tell that this is your first baby. It's normal to drop 2-4 weeks before you go into labor. Your baby is getting into position to come out. the discharge is normal. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and have an 11 month old daughter. I had the white discharge all through my pregnancy and I have it now. It doesn't mean that your plug came out. My plug came out in pieces and I leaked water with it every time a piece came out. It looks like snot.(gross I know) but just remember that for your first baby they can come two weeks before your due date and two weeks after your due date. so it wouldn't be strange if you went into labor by 37 weeks. good luck and congrats on the new baby you'll be having him/her very soon!

This can be normal.... Watch and see if it seems like a slow watery leak, or just a discharge. Even if it is your water leaking, if it's a small enough hole, it may mend itself.
Try changing positions as well... if the baby's head is covering the hole, laying down may move the head, and you will notice more leakage.
More than likly, nothing to worry about. If it continues, and you think it is your water leaking... don't let it go more than 24 hours before going to the hospital to be checked out. But, like I said, it may repair itself IF that's really what the problem is.

Sounds fine to me. One of those pregnancy things that worry the hell out of you. you can always call any gyn/ob doctor in the book and ask to speak to a nurse, or call your local hospital. If there is a constant leakage then go to your doctor's office and have them test to see if it you amniotic fluid. They will let you know and understand. They get a lot of these concerns, as well as the emergency rooms. Its better to be safe than sorry. I have had 4 kids my water broke once, before I was even in labor. They called it dry labor(they had to start my contractions). it just felt like I peed on myself, but then more kept coming and I couldn't stop it, so we went to the ER and they tested it and yup it was the fluid. One thing that I do know is that if it is fluid it will be constant leakage. So if you are really worried then go to the ER or doctor's office and have them check it. After all that's what you paying for.

It's normal and nothing to worry about.

Dropping just means it's getting in position to be born, the white discharge means the mucus plug has broken (which is a good thing).

Ughhhhhhhh! I had that darn discharge for weeks!!!!!!!! I gave birth at 38 weeks , but I had the discharge for about 3 or 4 weeks before. It is normal. Mine was slightly pink also, with some red veins running through (gross I know) but the OB said everything was fine, and she was born prefectly healthy...

Thats wierd that you've dropped already at 34 weeks. The dicharge should be normal, but I would get checked just in case.
