Pictures of lightning and storms are beautiful, I agree. I was down in Cocoa Beach, FL a few summers ago and there was heat lightning flashing across the sky. Truly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Cleveland has some of the most georgeous sunsets. I saw a bolt of lightning strike about 1500 feet in front of me when driving out in a rural area. It was so bright and powerful. I almost lost it.

Would love to see the aurora borealis (sp?)

But the most beautiful thing I've ever seen will be my future wife. :)

I once went on a hike in ID, on a trail that we just saw on a freeway sign and stopped. The trail was all down hill, and we had no idea where it led to. About an hour later we rounded a corner to find a HUGE waterfall with tons of little pools of water we stuck our feet in. I looked straight up and all there was around me was lush, greenery and the waterfall. I'm determined to go back and do it again because it was incredible. Good question!

There are so many beautiful things I have ever seen, but I will narrow it down to a couple:
My son's eyes and laughter, The Sunset, and a drawing of Jesus laughing as he holds a child!

The Grand Canyon, in real life, among a few other natural wonders I've seen, like Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I agree that thunderstorms are beautiful, as long as they don't do any damage.

I was driving on the highway the other day and saw the most beautiful plastic bag floating in the air. It was so beautiful my heart felt like it would crush under the weight of its beauty.
