If you point out inconsistancies, pose difficult questions, why do Christians just make it up as they go along? Talk about the missing link! false witnessing is a sin. And don't say that you don't do it, you do it as a RULE.

ANd if the bible was such a timeless book of wisdom, why do the MUCH smarter people of today have to have a theologian or a preacher explain and interperet all the jibber jabber and crap that doesn't pertain to today at ALL for you? And then why does it STILL not make any sense? And why do they then always resort to making crap up, completly pulling crap out of thin air to fill in the gaps and being so brazen and arrogant as to assume what GOD himself THINKS?

I am a Christian, and I agree with you. Their are questions that can't be answered, and many Christians do make it up as they go along.
I don't know every thing about the world, their are allot of questions that I have. How the earth was made. Despite what the scientific reason or the Biblical reason how the earth was made. I know that God made the earth.
I know that theirs a God, and I love him very much. He has done allot for me. He died for my sins, he gave me life; and a loving family; and That's all I can ask for. He is more then enough for me. I hope those Christians that believe that they have all the answers will be for given.
May God bless.

i would say it's not All Christians that do that. =T... sorry to hear that u've been around some that make you feel this upset and frustrated. i would say, however, that school doesn't always = smarter. also, there are many passages in the bible that do pertain to today.. in fact recently i JUST learned about Romans 5-8, and pretty much it explained to me why I believe in Jesus Christ...i never understood/knew it before! instead of judging others of what they believe, or letting others put you down w/ their beliefs (nobody is right if they make you feel this upset about it), let it all go...focus on what makes YOU happy, positive and understanding, a good person. be a bigger person and don't think negatively about those people, but remember you don't have to believe anything you don't want to.

as for the last line "if it doesn't make sense, it's a LIE", i dont' agree because not everyone has the same understanding/reasoning; something may make sense to you, but not to someone else, even if u explain step by step. and human mind and logic is flawed, can be colored by bias, racism, closed minds, ignorance, etc, and therefore there is always one side and a contradicting one. that's OK. don't try to prove things all the time..if u just believe and know what you know, be proud of that, and respect that about yourself and other people.

Not all Christians make crap up. Ask me, I don't. Christians have a relationship with God. Their answers are based on their own experience, or at least should be. If you have no relationship with God, you can't relate and what they say will not make much sense to you.

Thats not so much a Christian trait as it is a human one.
When forced to defend an idea the defender cannot fathom, most humans resort to razzle dazzle.

By the way "If it doesn't make sense, it's a LIE" is in erorr.
If it doesnt make sense....... there are many possibilities; amongst them: you dont get it.

God gave us 10 orders. That is what he is thinking. Does telling that is arrogant? All people who disagree keep saying that they now all them by self and they do accordingly without believing. But there is one serious point they don't show. That they do not want to oath to anybody that they shall obey it always. That in changed circumstances, when their life or loved ones shall be in danger, they will not reject "do not kill" for example. We have lot of experience how dangerous is rejecting God. We should not stop telling this to those blind who do not see the power of God. His punishment is always done by our own hands. And who is to be punished and why, it is not for us to know.

Because they know they can easily brainwash and manipulate their followers in order to stay in power as one of the biggest religions in the world. Yeah, they are an ignorant, arrogant bunch, aren't they?
