One of my many step dads owned a pool company. I don't think he had anything to do with her pink pool. But he was involved in some sort of business with her (or was trying). Ms Mansfield came to our house in Bensenville,IL with her kids and my brother (about 3 years old at the time) remembers that her son's hamster nipped him. Now I wonder if it weren't one of their little dogs rather than a hamster (he was only 3). My mother used to have pictures (like a fool she tossed them when she got a new husband) of Ms Mansfield, her husband (don't know if it was her first husband or the new boy friend), my mom and my step dad all posed in bathing suits near the pool. It was the late 50's or early 60's as close as I can tell My mom had bright red hair at the time. I mention this in case any of Ms Mansfield's family remember any of this and could give me more info. I'm cloudy on the facts, I must have been 8 at the time, but my brother has the best memories. PS My Mom was impressed by how well her kids were behaved. I work for a limousine service thru the years, in fact it was our limo that was in Straight Talk with Dolly Parton-it was not our driver. Years ago when we were a larger company we dealt with Delta Burke, carried quite a few of the Chicago Bears, Van Johnson, George Jefferson (can't remember real name), F Lee Bailey, I can't remember any other good ones.

I sat across the aisle on an airplane with Rod Stewart once. The year was 1983.
I was a lucky winner of of a seat on the Concorde flying between London to New York.
It was not a good occasion unfortunately because Rod Stewart was going to New York to obtain a divorce from his wife, so he was not in any great talking mood.
Also, this particular flight had a major problem at take off, and they aborted the flight half way on the runway. It was scary. We had to off load and wait for the next available plane.
To be honest, for me, the major thrill was to be on the Concorde. Screw Rod Stewart. I was just happy to be on this famous plane. It was so wonderful to be able to see the curvature of the earth from 58,000 ft. above see level. No celebrity could come close to match that thrill!

In 1989 me and some friends had dinner with Matt Dillon. We went to a bar in New York where it was know that he was there very often. He really was there and as some of the girls who were with me are really good looking, he went for dinner with us, took us then to a club and then took three women home. There were 2 other actors: one was I think the James LeGros from Pointbreak (but I could be wrong). After that evening we decided that M.Dillon would not be our best friend.
Timothy Dalton was sitting behind me in a restaurant in Luxembourg/Europe.
I also see sometimes the Arab singer Khaled (Aisha, Didi), as he lives in our country, but probably you don't know him in the USA.
If you like soccer, I saw Eusebio (the black panter) in hotel Montechoro/Albufeira/Portugal, Joa Pinto in the Marina of Vilamoura/Portugal. And my wife was standing next to Figo in the supermarket.
In 1984 I saw Y.Noah the tennis player in the Paris airport Charles de Gaule at a bar.

Yes, I have met a few. I was a protective officer at the State Department in Washington DC where they are frequently having some sort of function. Lou Gossett Jr. is a very nice man. I didnt go out of my way to meet them because I do not have a fascination with celebrities. They fart and have body odor just like the rest of us. I have met the guys in Alabama and Larry Gatlin, who, is very arrogant. One of the Oak Ridge Boys is my moms cousin.

I have seen Kel Gleason--a reality tv star from the 2nd season of survivor. I saw him at a talent contest I went to. He was one of the judges. I got his autograph.
I haven't seen them, but the Los Lonely Boys are from my hometown and people see them a lot around here. Bowling for Soup lives there too and my friend's mom saw the drummer in her hairstylist's place. JoJo has had a concert here, yet I didn't get to go to it. There are alot of celebs here yet I never see any.

I've seen a lot, from porn stars to politicians, shopping, driving, at restaurants. I grew up in L A, specifically the San Fernando Valley and they're all over the place. It got to the point that it wasn't even a big deal anymore.
