Ethnic background? Well I'll be honest and without looking at your profile or your other questions/answers for any hints...I would say Middle Eastern, specifically Persian, Assyrian, or Armenian.
From what country would be unfair. This world is becoming more and more of a melting pot so you could be from anywhere. I have Middle Eastern friends that lived in Iran, Lebanon, Germany, England, France, US, even Japan. There is no way to tell.
