Wow how exciting.
it would depend first of all how old you were.
And, also,,since London is so big into fashion..I think that you should wear..
A skirt that is suited for you.
A white ruffled blouse on the outside w/ a belt of some sort that fits your body.
a hat: if you like them
and, the new slip on stylish teeny shoes,,because you will be walking alot..
I am be way off,,,but this sounds cute.
Look at it this way too: wear what makes you feel comfortable..and stylish,,,and remember if you get it all wrong.. then ...no one will see you again.
Large bag, big sunglasses, round silver hoops, or whatever matches the material of the belt..you know// . in your bag,,don't forget camera, bandaids, water, and lots of spending money.
Have a great time for us/ I am so jealous!

That's an easy one because my husband is from London, so I have spent much time there. It really depends on what day you are going there and what you are going to be doing as an activity. If you are going to be walking around a lot, I would suggest some casual but chic shoes, like ballet flats. I would suggect a nice pair of pants, well fitting fashionable jeans, or a nice pair of slacks, and a v-neck sweater and pearls, or another nice necklace, maybe if you get cold, you could wear a trench coat. London is a very classic city, so a lot of thier looks are kind of conservative, but it is also very trendy, so there are those looks as well. I would suggest going for the more classic look, just so it works all over London ( Each neighborhood has thier own look).

If it is within the next week or so, loose cotton top and shorts. It is in the 90's most days with high humidity and little or no breeze. Bring a few bottles of water with you from a supermarket as they charge £1.50 a small bottle in most places. Bring sandwiches if you can and buy snacks in the same supermarket before you come. Watch the weather forecast for the South East area.
Have a nice time and if you visit the Tower of London, cross over to the beautiful St. Katherine's Dock where you can have your 'picnic'... Have a lovely time...............

I always suggest sensible flat shoes like trainers for a day out in london. London is a big place and you may need to walk most of the times between tube and bus rides and between attractions. If in summer, tshirt and long short would be best unless you are going out to a smart occassion. jeans in winter is ideal. no flip flops unless you can bear the pain and blisters!

That little black dress. A blazer in light coffee. Matching accessories. Don't forget to emphasize your eyes and finish it with a striking lipstick and black or coffee pumps with straps. Add a sparkle purse over the shoulder and your good to go!
