I know to reduce my salt intake and to avoid fried foods and eggs, i am curious what has worked for others.

eat 100% oatmeal a bowl a day and cut the fat out in your foods non fat milk non fat cheese you get the picture

I had success taking a laxitive called Psyllium. It lowered my cholesterol by about 15%. Exercise also helps a lot. The cardiovascular kind, for 30 minutes 3 times a week.
