I have a silk scarf from India and 2-3 others that have been given to me as gifts - they are beautiful, but I have no idea how to actually "drape" them on me (for lack of a better descriptor). Could someone pease tell me (detailed directions would be great - with pictures, even better!)

first of all, I am a woman....second of all...I meant a silky/decorative scarf, not a winter one.....third of all...I am still just not picturing it - how do I get it to stay where I put it? Sorry, I am just not a girly girl and into dressing up much so I don't follow these things....

you can tie it into a bow or try making it into a flower and pin it to your outfit. Also you can wear it like a clip or wrap for your hair depending on how big it is

*Pair them with a crinkle or "bohemian" skirt. It adds to the earthy look.

*Looks great with a simple white shirt. The vibrant color and embroidery will accent a simple shirt, if there is embroidery of coarse. (don't put it with a patterned or "busy" out fit, that would be to much)

*Use a sash. Can be worn with a skirt, or even jeans. A very decorative, simple way to light up your outfit.

*A shall, if you feel more bold, like I said, just don't put it with a "busy" outfit, or you'll look tacky and mismatched.

Yeah! why no longer? i do it.. haha yet as long as its no longer one among those scarfs that are made for iciness, like the furry ones or something polyester. yet a silk or cotton headband would be only high quality. Even greater helpful if its vibrant colored

Please don't put it around your neck that is so 60's not cool really. You could use it as a belt or also if you are wearing a dress that match the color you could use it with it laying on your shoulders going behing your neck.

make it look 60s and tie it around your neck like a big tie in the middle of your top chest tucked into a nice jacket something like that would look charming

Tie one end on a tree branch using a latter, then kick the latter from under your feet.

Really stylish.
