Just before the burn begins the words "cannot syncronize" pop
up. What can I do about this?

instead of burning it directly to the cd have the program make an image 1st then burn that is an option with most burning programs

You don't say what source you are burning from? Are you trying to burn an audio speech or a printed version of the speech? If audio, what is the format? (extention)
More info. required for an answer.

Save the file to your computer first. Then use program like Nero to burn it in CD.
