HappyMom had the best answer. Your current popularity is meaningless. After high school, you'll just be another face in the crowd, and you'll be judged by who you ARE, not what you look like or who your bf is. Brains and personality are going to matter more, and the fact that you're going out with a football jock is going to be a liability, not an asset.
High school popularity is probably the most empty, shallow kind of popularity there is. Start studying and working on yourself as a person while you can. You might have a little less fun while youre in high school, but it will pay off bigtime in college.

I have found that being the most popular girl or boy only lasts for a period of time,don't be hurt by this because things change,people change.There are more important things in life than being the most popular,maybe you could go for being the most helpful or the nicest girl or even the best friend to someone.If I were you I would not waste my time worring about it.

Get over it. Popularity means SQUAT in real life. Do you want to be the most popular Burger King employee, Mc Donald's, Taco Bell or other fast food dead end job minimum wage jobs for the rest of your life? No? Then worry about school. I made the mistake of goofing off in school. Now I am stuck. I can't get anything above a dead end job. If I want to go to college I have to pay for it myself...and I can't afford that. Unless you want to be living the story of my life screw popularity and work on your grades and a scolarship.

While I think this is a bit shallow, I'll still answer... work it out with er, become the new "power girls" of the school. Trust me, the two of you together would dominate better together thatn against each other. (and of course, keep your friends close and enemies closer)
