Do you think he's too old or that he's in great shape to keep acting

I believe the plot to the movie is the most important factor to its success. It will probably mimic the true life story of George Foreman's return from retirement. What drove fans to see George Foreman was his unbelievable knock-out wins against younger, stronger and faster fighters. The rise of an underdog (which was what Rocky was in every Rocky movie) seems to be a successful formula in Hollywood.

Stallone recognizes that he is 60 and so do his fans. If the role calls for a 60 year-old boxer then Sly fits the bill. As to how realistic it would be for a 60 year-old boxer to win a championship bout let alone qualify as a challenger, I think it's highly unlikely. The film could probably save some realism to the story by having Rocky lose as he did in the first film.

The oldest person to win a world championship heavyweight bout was Geore Foreman at the age of 45 in 1994. He also made it to the world championship ring to challenge world title holder Evander Hollyfield in 1991 and lasted 12 rounds only to lose on points -- also an amazing feat at the age of 42 or 43.

No doubt he is in good shape for his age, but Rocky is overdone. They should have stopped on the 3rd one. As for Sylvester Stalone well he can still act....he should just do other movies. Rocky has been played out. He should move on and do other movies....but that doesn't mean this movie won't be good.!
