my ex tried a coouple times. Almost succeding the second if i had not found her , she litteraly had minutes left. It was very surreal. The worst part was i had to clean up the aftermath of her attempt. It was a humbling experience knowing that she is still here because i found her.

My grandpa did when my mom was a little girl. I never felt really bad about it until my mom started telling me about him recently and I realized how similar we are, and how we could have been great friends. I'm really close friends with my other grandpa, and I started to feel sad that I didn't have a relationship with my mom's dad, too. I started to mourn the loss of that friendship in this life.

By the way, I think it's really great that people are getting together and talking about how hard it is to deal with suicide here. When a person tries to commit suicide, they feel like they're at the end of their rope and there is no one who cares about them. Maybe if someone reads these, they'll realize how much their decision would affect other people, and how much they are truly loved by other people.

Yes, I had a boyhood friend that committed suicide. I didn't do anything to cope, because I didn't know how to. It gradually became less painful with time.

I knew a friend online that was suicidal. One day he just stopped getting online and I haven't talked to him in years. Don't know if he actually did or if he just wanted a dramatic way to get rid of me.

my friend tried, I just started clinging to her as much as possible, trying to let her know that I love her and as long as I'm alive she'll never be alone.
