Truth is what you feel & know to be right. A lie is something you have to question whether it is right or wrong.

Borrowing the truth which does not belong to you, but perhaps to another, creates lie. If you do not have your own truth you lie to yourself. In another hand there is nothing but truth...everything have its right to exist...we just intermix that truth and that creates lie even when you are not aware of it, believing that you are right..That is a matter of an ignorance, we do not know the truth. If we do not know the truth, then we will experience another side of a truth...it is false. Have you ever heard that world which you perceiving actually, does not really exist? Delusional? That is relate to stated above..

Truth is anything that is consistent with the reality we experience around us. This also extends into the unseen world, such as the perfect triangle or 2 +2 = 4. A lie is diametrically opposite of truth.
However, there are several theories of truth, but the one underlying fact is this, for there to be anything that is true, truth itself must be objective and independent of our opinions; if not, then the entire issue of truth is futile.

in the teachings of tao when you say something is the truth you create lie, because they cant exist without each other, ying and yang, push and pull, so to say your a lie, then I must say someone else is telling the truth, but to exist in between is where one must be, prove the truth without calling them a lie, prove a lie with out knowing the truth...........Also U can make a lie detector, most parts can be found a radio shack, the cost of the whole project is like 20 or so buck, just search the web for the construction of it, and cheack out other website to see if they sell the parts

The truth is whatever I tell my daughter...if it comes out of her father's mouth (my ex) it's pretty much guaranteed to be a lie!

There is absolute truth, contrary to many people's opinions. Truth exists. Lies skew our perception of things that exist.
