Yes, definitely. But I do think it's important to treat oneself with compassion. It's good, and absolutely necessary to be introspective and to acknowledge what we dislike about ourselves, and figure out what we want to change, but there's a fine line between "scolding" ourselves every now and then, and needlessly berating ourselves.

Challenge yourself, and don't be afraid to look at yourself crtitically: it's the only real way to grow, I think. But realize that you're imperfect and that this is ok; just do your best in life.

I would have to say NO and YES.
I can't be in other peoples heads and theres a lot of heads other than my own
so No to that part but YES I would say I'm definately
HARD on myself and a long time ago in 8th grade
this JOCKY dude named DAVID FLOWERS commented
me on my sports abilities and I said I could have done better
of which he REPLIED
" Are you going to be hard on yourself always".

Yes I'm very hard on myself. If I mess up I get way more upset them if someone else messes up. It's normal and I think it's just a part of being a perfectionist.

Yes. There are some standards that I hold myself to, but no one else. I'm working on relaxing this, especially in cases where there's no need.

oh yea...being a perfectionist does that to u...no matter how good u do..its never enough and i think i could do better even if someone thinks its awesome
