Dude, I just turned 34 and this weekend I'm taking my birthday money and buying a Nintendo DS Lite.
Of course, my first game will probably be Brain Age and not Super Mario.
And, if you're 25, that means eventually you can just buy both!

Buy it.
Im 34 and own the psp, the 360 and a couple of ps2's. My girls both have the ds and I steal that every now and then to play mario bros. My wife is 33 and she does the same thing. It would definately be okay to set age limits for children, but you can never be too old.

I am almost 30 and I still love video games. I have a DS. I spent the better part of the morning playing Fable:The Lost Chapters on my pc. I am a child of the 80's. Video games are a natural part of life for me.

You are never to old to stop doing the things you enjoy. Have you ever heard of someone giving up listening to music because they got to old?
What kind of scares me is that back in the 80's, all the video games were flat ugly sticks and colored squares that bleep around the screen. Now 20 some years later, everything is 3d picturesque quality high definition surround-sound bigger than life. Just imagine how real video games will seem in the 2020's.
*cough* Star Trek Holodeck *cough* Will they ever become so real that people will start asking, "Am I to old to not be living in a video game"?

Of course you ain't........ I'm 27 and in addition to 3 PC's, I've got Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Sony Playstation2, Nintendo Gamecube + a Nokia N-Gage and still play games...... trying to save up for more games + a PSP to add to my collection.
Ex. Formula1 Driver (soon to be NASCAR driver) Juan-Pablo Montoya is over 30, and known to be a Playstation fan......... motoring journalist Jeremy Clarkson is over-45, and been seen playing video games as part of a feature on his TOP GEAR tv show.
My best friend in Arkansas' husband is over-30 and so addicted to "World of Warcraft", he's gone and taken their PC with him to Louisiana while visiting a sick Aunt there in Hospital...... and they also have a GAMECUBE...... my other best friend in Ohio is 31, and spents most her day online gaming...... while in one of my old CLUB NINTENDO magazines from 1993 is mention of a fan in her 80's....... My Prison penpal in California is 30, and still misses playing video games..... and my 23yr old g/f in South Carolina has an XBOX + a PSP.
Part of Nintendo's current marketing strategy with the DS + upcoming "Wii" console, apparently, is to try encourage older people who wouldn't normally consider gaming to give it a go.

no, im 15 and that i play video games with human beings that are 10 years older than me and some that truly have youthful toddlers. you may under no circumstances be too old to play video games, its only a form of leisure like television, and no man or woman is too old to visual demonstrate unit television.

NO , your not too old, never too old to do something you enjoy.I worked in a nursing home once and brought in my old snes, my supervisor told me that the patients were too old to understand and get any enjoyment out of it. A year later she comes back from a convention AND tells me that there is research going on that video games stimulate the brain, and that She will the first to start it in our nursing home, lol. But even now in Japan and here they have a game called Brain Age that older people in Japan are playing by the BUSLOADS and are enjoying it. so enjoy those games ..

First of all, you are never to old to play video games. They are a good stress reliever. Secondly, being 25 does not make you to old for anything! (except maybe something geared towards toddlers but even then...) I'm 21 and I still live by a 12 year old phrase, "Hakuna Matata!" and my father is 51 and HE plays video games! Case in point, if you have fun doing something, then do it and who cares what anyone else thinks!

The intended market for PSP's are adults.
Due to the cost, complexity and handling, they are not meant to be treated badly. not like a gameboy.
So your are 25, I'm much older, I have a PSP.
My favourite game is Prince of Persia, I also have dark mirror, Tomb Raiders, and a few other games, I also watch movies, and listen to music on my PSP, I rip CD's & DVD and put them on my gig memory card.
It gets boring on the train to and from work.
It's what you feel inside that counts, not what others think, or then should run your like.
I still watch cartoons on the occasion, my favourite Lady and the Tramp, & Cinderella.
Just because you are getting older does not mean you have to cut out everything you enjoy
