Who was a better rapper, Tupac or The Notorious B.I.G. and why

They both were great in their own right, so the only reason people compare them is because they're linked in each others deaths which is sad considering that they had completely different styles & different flows & talked about comepletely different stuff....Tupac would always talk about about the realities of being poor & homeless & teenage pregnancies but he would always talk about death & dying but he was a very well read & educated individual cos his mom would make him read the NYTimes from cover to cover! Biggie on the other hand spoke more about his struggle in brooklyn, about being a drug dealer with "Ten Crack Commandments", like in "Ready To Die" his debut album was mostly about that and he would paint these storries about killing people or murders, being poor & broke as well, smoking weed & sh*t like that but also partying but then in his last album "Life After Death" was more fun but still dark in some ways but because he wasn't broke anymore, he could make tracks that signified his new found wealth but still talk about "your daughter's tied up in a Brooklyn basement" on "Hypnotize"....In my opinion I perfer Biggie, maybe it's cos I'm from NYC! I think Tupac is loved everywhere though mostly in LA....Listen to all their albums & you compare, only your own opinion should matter to you...

B.I.G...tupac was awesome...but he was soooo ahead of his time...B.I.G was good for his time he had the right type of rhyming and beats that are still awesome even today

They are both good
Tupac has better lyrics and Biggie has a better flow.......But I have to choose Tupac!

RAP IS S H I T. IT ALL SUCKS. IT IS UNORIGINAL AND ALL SOUNDS THE SAME. LISTEN TO SOME REAL MUSIC. METAL, ROCK, COUNTRY, OR EVEN BLUES. SOMETHING WITH AN ORIGINAL MELODY, AND LYRICS THAT ACTUALLY TELL A STORY WORTH LISTENING TO. AND LYRICS THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR AND UNDERSTAND. ALL RAPPERS SUCK, AND DEFINITELY DON'T DESERVE THE MONEY THEY GET. THEY ARE CORRUPTING YOUNG KIDS' MINDS AND DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY.
