All I did was ask a question about the frame of mind of a coworker leaving her family without so much as a word. I just want to try to understand it and be compassionate towards the family. Especially because their were kids involved.

All you people have done is bashed me for trying to open my mind and understand the situation

Most people have no compassion anymore. This is the place some people get there frustrations of life out, so you have to be prepared for all kinds. Sorry you had a bad experience, but there are people who care in this world we live in, so don't give up hope.

I just read your other question, and I think people are being rude because you're asking about something that really doesn't matter to your existence one way or another.

Is it going to affect your day to day life that a co-worker you barely know left her husband for someone on the internet? Is she your friend? Do you talk to her all the time?

If the answer to these questions are no, then it's not really your place to understand the situation, or to go out of your way to be compassionate towards a family that you don't know.

If you really want to understand, I think you should ask her.. not some strangers who don't know the situation or the person.. and if you're asking us because you don't know the situation or the person.. then you really don't need to know.

I am not sure. Not everyone is rude. I believe that people have alot more nerve on the net because they are not face to face with you. I think that if you were to ask the same question to those peoples faces their tunes would change and they would sing a different song. The only reason I think this is because it is how my husband and I approach topics that we feel might hurt the other person, but need to be discussed. We write it all out in emails and "talk" it out that way. It might not be the best approach in the world, but at least we communicate and say the things that need to be said.

You may never know all the reason's why someone leaves their family behind, but it happens everyday. It is not for you to understand why this happened.

Divorce with children happen everyday too. In an unhappy relationship, the unhappiness rubs off on the children. What children want unhappy parents. It is better to be apart and happy then togther and unhappy.

Well if you have that plm report to Yahoo Answer each one of them. You should have read before you giving the question for people to answer. and Seems that it does bug you and you should no longer in yahoo answer.

It didn't bother me and people have no social skills or how to answer or how to read.

I made my 2 points.
