I am always inside my head thinking about something. It's like my thought playground. What about you?

Definitely inside. My wheels are always turning. I worry a lot...and I'm a dreamer... I think about the future...and the past.

I spend a lot of my time in my thought playground as well. Analytical people tend to spend more time inside their head...this is neither good nor bad. You sound like a possible writer...and if not, then maybe you should give it a shot. Get some of those thoughts on paper.
There is a saying however that most daydreams are about the opposite sex (wink-wink). Don't spend too much time in your head...or life (your mate) will pass you by. :-)

Inside. I think I prefer it there most of the time. But lately I'm making an effort to focus more on the outside when I'm doing something I really enjoy...like having an intellectually stimulating conversation.

My perception is like picture-in-picture. Even when I am extremely focused on an external task, a part of my attention always belongs to the world within. It seems like my thoughts are automatic and continuous. People have called me an overthinker or aloof or distant, but I like the world within. It is my personal oasis, and I'm always willing to invite others who care to listen and share. And I'm trying to using my introspective and thoughtful nature to become a novelist.

Inside my head - I'm "deep" that way. But I wouldn't mind spending some time inside of yours, if it's as big as you claim. LoL. Being 'head'strong is our best quality.

I am very internalized, always thinking. The gears just never stop working, sometimes I even find it hard to sleep I think so much.
