i bought a bananabell on the internet, both the buttom and the top balls are detachable. can i still use it for initial piercing, or the bottom ball HAS TO BE FIXED?

First - Buying your own jewelry is a bad idea, the jewelry has to be pre-sterilized and must be made of implant grade materials for teh initial healing time. If we are talking Navel that is 6 months to a year with starter jewelry
Second - Both balls being removable doesn't matter at all.
Third - I saw someone answered that curved barbells are used on tongues...not true, straight barbells are used on tongues.

Bottom has to be fixed, and that was one piercing I did feel, compared to my tongue and other parts of my body. I definitely "felt" my belly button--- not saying it hurt, but I did feel it!

I am not sure, but banana bells are commonly used for the belly button or toungue.

no it dosent have to be fixed just be careful cause i have had mine done i have to go back cause the guy didnt perice it deep enough and did not put one in long enough just be careful
