Go into a time warp and remember the last time you entered your house and how you walked, step by step, and what you did. Think this memory out calmly without going into a fit or trying to get the answer in the first second or two. Ideally, you'll sit down for two or three minutes and the highest probability will snap into your mind, and you'll calmly get up and walk right to them -- I've done that.
Check the places you normally put your keys --start with having left them in the door lock! Check the pants you were wearing.
