Babies eat pinhead crickets, and other small insects. Adults eat crickets, mealworms, other large insects, and an occasional pinkie mouse.

A friend of mine had an Emperor scorpion...she loved to eat flies, "roly polys" and just about any insect that they would find in the house or garden. My friend would put fly paper out and some sugar water drops on the paper. By the middle of the day there would be plenty of good things for the pretty Emperor scorpion to eat. Emperor scorpions are lovely, black and huge beings...they would indeed be great pets as they love to eat all the insects that bother YOU!

I got hundreds living next to the river here. I never paid attention to what they eat, just made sure they don't get a chance of stinging me, but my best guess is all kinds of insects, maggets etc.
