are there any proven herbal iols that will ripen your cervix and get you ready for delivery?

You probably know this already, but the best source is human sperm. So, if you are trying to hasten labor, that can be very good news or very bad news, depending on your outlook :)
Evening primrose oil can also be used. It comes in softgel capsules. Puncture the capsule and apply directly to the cervix, or as close as you can. My MW had me do this a week before my due date to soften the cervix.
