Whenever I have a sad dream right before I wake up, I'm trapped in bummed out funk (for no other reason) until after lunch, or when I have a happy dream, I'm in a good mood all day. People even comment "what's wrong" or "what are you smiling about".

Does this happen to you too?

Yep, that happens to me sometimes. Though I usually only get in a moody funk when I have a "love" dream about somebody I like. I end up with that achy, bittersweet feeling inside the rest of the day.

Yes, especially if I have a nightmare that something bad has happened to a loved one. I will call that person to make sure they are okay. Movies can have this effect on me as well, as can books. After I read the book "Beloved" I was in a blue funk for days.

If my dream actually had bad feelings in it, I'm freaked out for maybe the first 10 minutes I wake up. A really good dream lasts with me all day, though.

Sometimes. It depends on how strong the dream felt. If it was fairly intense, then it definitely affects my mood for a few hours.

But not if it was just one of those fluffy, silly dreams that I hardly remember 5 minutes later.

ya that happens to me too. isn't it weird? you'd think like "it's only a stupid dream" but it really does matter. when i have like nightmares and stuff i get kinda jumpy all day, when i have a funny dream i laugh at everything all day, even if it's not even that funny...lol
