A man has to get a chicken, a fox, and a bag of chicken feed(food) to the other side of a lake. He can only take one item at a time, but can make as many trips as he needs, back and forth.
*Be careful who eats what if you leave it/them on the other side alone when going back for another item. Fox eats chicken, chicken eats food. Good Luck!

first you take the chicken over
then you go back, grab the food, take it over, grab the chicken, take it back over to the other side.
Load up the fox, and leave the chicken.
take the fox over and leave it with the food,
then go back get the chicken, and......

Cross with Feed and fox, leave feed on the other side of the lake. Cross back with Fox.
Leave Fox and the first side and Cross with Chicken. Leave Chicken on the far bank and take the feed back to pick up the fox and return to other side.

Takes the fox over and picks up the chicken taking it back w/him to the side with the chicken feed.
Takes the chicken feed over to the fox and then goes back for the chicken

Bring chicken, leave fox & feed (fox doesn't eat feed)
Bring fox, leave feed. When get to the other side, bring chicken back w/ him.
Bring feed, leave chicken, once at the other side leave feed w/ fox since he doesn't eat feed.
Go back by himsefl and bring chicken. Once to the other side, he has all three. :)

He takes the chicken over first, and goes back and gets the feed, takes the feed to the other side, takes the chicken brings him back, then takes the fox, takes him to the other side w/ the feed, then goes back and gets the chicken.
