The reason is because of the practise of driving in near chaotic and unregulated traffice back home. I ride a scooter, and 90% of time I am forced to overtake from the left,which is not permitted.
I use air horn, again not permitted, but without the honking of which, pedestrains wont move from the road. And why are they on the road in the first place? Because the footpath is consumed by the hawkers.And why hawkers there? Illegal permit to trade.
Because life is so tense most of the time,we Asians have even forgotten the meaning of the work ettiquet, whther in driving,or other simplicities of life.
Please excuse us.Our next generation that is raising in Western & other countries are learning the better ways.

I really don't know why, but they are. Every time I go to Vancouver, which is heavily populated with Asians, I notice how bad they are. I'm sure it's not all Asians, however it does seem to be a problem for most of them.

THAT IS STEREOTYPING NOT ALL ASIANS ARE BAD DRIVERS I'M NOT ASIAN BUT I DON'T THINK ALL ASIANS ARE BAD DRIVERS MAYBE SOME OF THEM MIGHT BE JUST A LITTLE BAD BUT I THINK THAT APPLIES TO EVERY RACE HISPANIC, AFRICAN AMERICAN, CAUCASIAN, ASIAN, ETC.

Don't you think that this question is an example of a negative stereotype? Every minority group has something that certain, biased people like to stereotype about that group, but it is WRONG!
You shouldn't catagorize an entire population of individual people and lump them together regarding anything, let alone something like driving, which is obviously a learned behavior.
