Lately my fiance has become very jealous! I dont know why because I have NEVER done anything to make him jealous! I keep telling him I love him and only him and I do not want to be with anyone else! He gets mad when we are out eating and I look around to see who is around me! I do not even realize I am doing this! It is not like I am staring at anyone! But he has become very jealous and I dont know why! Anyone know why?

Maybe he is doing something behind your back. Turn the tables around a little. If you aren't doing anything wrong, maybe he is.

Postpone your wedding date first. Do not marry a "jealous" man. It WILL destroy the marriage. He doesn't trust you, why I don't know. Sounds like he is insecure with himself. It's not your job to MAKE him not feel jealous. He either trust you or he doesn't. Tell him straight up, I love you, I'm not interested in anyone else and you need to stop this jealousy thing or it's going to ruin our relationship. Hope he listens.........

Generally jealous people are one of two varieties.

(1) Insecure nut
(2) Secure person with something to worry about.

My daughter keeps getting these very serious jealous boyfriends that she ragged on about being insecure nuts -- but then again she was in denial that she was cheating on them. Imagine that!

It's insecurity...and normally even deeper reasons that a therapist can pull out.

The best advice I can give you is do NOT tolerate it in ANY way. Once you draw a line in the sand and he crosses it...do NOT draw another line...otherwise he will only get worse. First you can't look at other guys, then you can't talk to friends, then you can't go out and have fun....

I truly hope you listen to this advice - do NOT deal with that behavior. You will be MISERABLE! He will suffocate and kill your inner spirit :-)

Oh yeah - marraige makes it 1000 times worse. He does not have the power to change this himself - only serious help can get him to realize his deeper trust issues.

Be careful- now that he's got some of the hook in you he's going to get worse if you don't look for the signs. Ask him when he's not having a hissy fit and then maybe suggest councelling before tying the knot.

He could be cheating on your or possibly met someone else and it is his way of not letting you find out. Then, on the other end of the spectrum, he could be so in love with you that he is simply afraid of losing you to someone else. However, you should really think about when the change come about.

If this just started, he is probably doing something he shouldn't be and is trying to trough you off his track by blaming you. Ask his questions and see if he gets defensive. Try to catch him in a lie, if he'll lie about little things he'll lie about big things. Also this maybe be a sign that he is controlling and doesn't want you around men.

It sounds like he is very insecure. Try not to look around and talk to him. Keep your eyes on him.
