How many don't care.

We are hated until the Nazis invade or a tsunami/typhoon/hurricane/volcano/mudslide/earthquake etc wipes out your crappy 3rd world country.

I just don't care anymore. With that said, with all the traveling I've done in EU and other places, I haven't found that the US is hated at all. It's the FRENCH that EVERYONE hates.

I do not hate whole businesses of folks. I attempt to restrict being that bigoted. There are folks that I do not suppose so well approximately, however those ar folks that I both recognize, or have a few study on to grasp who they're and what the stand for. To do or else is ridiculous. Why hate some thing you do not know or realise? However you're proper. This is the unhappy truth that we are facing on a every day groundwork. Partisanship is at an all time prime. Racism (by means of all races) exists. The wealthy tend to seem down upon the deficient is both "dull" or "lazy," and the deficient in flip grow to be sour in the direction of the wealthy. I want that our nation might positioned those variations apart and unite. We are greater than what now we have grow to be. EDIT: Curt J, Completely with you in this one. Even even though I'm a tender man myself (nonetheless in university), there are definately folks available in the market, on Yahoo! Answers and or else, who disagree, however have sincere, healthful debate with eachother, discover a few core flooring and manage matters in a peaceable subject. I salute you and others available in the market who reply questions in a deferential manner with out resorting to hatred and anger. We want extra folks like that out within the nation in these days.

I always thought that as an American we were looked at by other countries as prosperous and in general "good". However, since my husband and I have been in the process of international adoption I have noticed the actual views of people from other countries. I don't know if I would go so far as say we are "hated" by everybody.....but I have noticed that we are seen as a "prideful" nation. As a nation that thinks TOO HIGHLY of itself. Just something I noticed as we traveled.

I am an american. That's a big question. Here we go: We're too selfish & self centered, we're egocentric, we have the best train military people in the whole world, we love piciking on small people, we step into other people's affair thinking we can fix things, we take advantage of people that needed our help the most by saying we'll help but what's in it for us. We'll intimidate you if we have to in order to have things our way.

So, the answer is we don't really know. We're so into ourselves, who's really going to hate us. But at least we know one thing for sure, we're not well respected anymore when we're on foreign soil. But that don't matter, because this helps stimulate our economy. I guess we're really confused anymore.

Hatred is not the way to solve world problems, all I know is whenever a country has it's hand out for help they usually get something from the USA. Maybe it's time for us to act like Switzerland and stay alone.
If we are so hated why are people risking their lives to come here and start a life here? I wouldn't mind seeing LESS imigration happening.

Don't confuse the President with The People. His views mostly don't represent mine. I'm sure this is typical in most countries. Stop the stereotyping.

We Americans are from various backgounds from all over the world. :)

and because you are hated that makes you wrong? grow up seriously and learn for yourself

They jealously hate us, they have rallies agianst Bush but in america we hardly even mention Chirac or Zapatero (I never in real life heard Chirac's name mentioned once, thats how small and irrelevant France is).
America doesn't care what the world thinks. We are not your dumb colonies anymore and Europe is angry at this. Europe's rantings are getting very pathetic, it is like "love me daddy" type of pathetic now.

It's not really about friendship or like or dislike. It's more of is it politically correct or advantageous for my country or people to have good relations or not. What does it mean for my country to have good, bad or don't really care standings with the other country. It's all about whether its beneficial relations and not moral or personal relations. That's politics !!!!!!!
