Michael For someone who has won as many titles as he has, he is still very determined and focused. It is actually amazing that he can keep up the motivation after so many titles and having a family (which probably makes you reevaluate your values). Michael probably is slowing down in regard to his best years, but he is still competitive. Maybe I put too much weight on previous seasons, and judge drivers more than on just the present performance.

I have to go with Kimi, but by just a little (over Fred Alonso). He's greatly handicapped this season by the fact the McLaren car just isn't fast. Still, he's managed to score points on a fairly consistent basis. Ron Dennis is sorely in need of a good designer, not a driver.
Bring back John Barnard or persuade Gordon Murray to come out of (F1 design) retirement. :-)

Alonso. he has what it takes to push his renault around the circuits as fast as possible. Michael is an amasing driver, but he is just too old for the sport. Kimi is also very good, but just not on par with alonso. Plus, when Alonso makes his move to the best f1 team (mclaren) next year he will be unbeatable.

Michael. Not for any other reason than that he has the experience and willpower to always make it. Alonso's good, don't get me wrong, just give him a couple of years. And Kimi has it in spades, I just can't like him because HE NEVER SMILES!!!

Better driver? Michael. Only because of experience. Although, all three of them won't make mistakes if someone is chasing them. Only car failure will do that. I'm a huge Kimi fan so I'm partial to him. And Alsonso is just hot!

im not a big f1 fan, but i like to watch it. i think that alonso is better because he won a championship with a team that wasn't the best at the moment. he came from "an average" team. meanwhile, michael has won all his championships with ferrari, which has dominated for years. so it took more effort for renault and alonso

Kimi, based on his ability to repeatedly come from the back of the grid last year. Raw talent on display every time.

Kimi. Because he is striving to get to top with not so great car or team like Ferrari or Renault.
