Because the kids are affected and you don't want to hurt your kids in any way, but it cannot be avoided in that situation. To stay and be unahppy is not good and to leave and take the kids away from the other parent is not good either. They do pay unfortunately.

Because kids did not ask to be brought into this world and end up having a mother and father living apart. They trust in us that we will do all that we can to protect the family unit. We have them out of love and we let something come between that love. In turn, the kids are still there, wanting a "normal" life. They deserve it after all. (Unless their is some form of abuse in the relationship) They don't deserve that.

because the kids arent gonna understand why mommy and daddy are fighting, and if one leaves it could tramatize the child permanatley

because it hurt the kids when parents are separate i know i am separate from my husband and we have two kids together
