Somethings you could try

Scraping

Scraping then use a Mr Clean Magic eraser to take off the bits that are stubborn.

Goo hand cleaner

Acetone free nail polish remover (?)

A hair dryer on the tape to help soften the sticky part- blow it w/ the hair dryer in little sections, then remove it slowly- keep the hair dryer on it as you peel.

Good luck that blue painter's tape is the stickiest stuff around- I paint a lot and I never use it because it's so hard to get off sometimes.

I would try soaking it doen and maybe use a scraper to help lift it. I used it in my kitchen now I have places I need to repair, it does not lift off easily without damage.

rubbing alcohol might work....windex might work, or vegetable oil. Also, medical supply stores make adhesive remover pads that are specifically designed to take off sticky stuff, so you might want to try those. :) Hope this helps!
