Come work with me, my boss wears t-shirts with skull and cross bones, holes in his jeans and open toed sandals. He meets with bankers, too. Doesn't seem to be a problem.

Open toed dress shoes are all right, not sandals. Skirts should be no shorter than 1-2 inches above the knees. No sleevless tops unless you plan to wear a jacket over them. Jewelry & makeup should be understated- subtle. Flip flops are an absolute No No. Unless there is a casual day, presume that jeans & any type of shorts are a no-no.

I think you would be ok but it depends on the office policy if they say you should be wearing hose then I would work to get a pair of black 4" high heels, closed toe and save the sandals for after work.

Depends on the length of the skirt. Open toe shoes acceptable, but not preferred for professional dress.

whether the open toe sandal is OK depends on
your company ( how conservative is it?)
your industry - you can wear more fashionable things if you work in ashion compared to working in let's say, a bank.
where you live - sandals are usually ok in really hot places, like Florida.
Lots ob books on office clothing say you should dress like your boss.

Check your office policy. Generally OSHA regulations forbid open toe shoes, but most people ignore that in the summer.

Depends on the atmosphere in your office. Some places don't allow this as it goes against safety regulations. Ask someone, or see what other girls are wearing. Personally, if your office allows it, I think it's fine as long as you cut your toe nails :)

depends on what dress code is in your office, some places require close toe shoes regardless of the nature of your job
